Friend Anniversary marks the day two people became friends on Facebook with a short, celebratory video made just for them, their shared photos and moments set to motion and music, personal enough to feel made by hand.
The design challenge was doing that at scale: one template system that composes beautifully for millions of different friendships, from two photos to two hundred, and still feels warm and personal every time.
